Located in the heart of San Diego, this spot has become a go-to for locals and visitors looking for a quick bite without compromising on quality.

The menu at Wei Wei Asian Express is both diverse and enticing. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty noodle bowl, a rice dish, or flavorful stir fry, the options are sure to satisfy any appetite. For those with dietary restrictions, there are gluten-free choices available, ensuring everyone can find something to enjoy.

I’ve visited Wei Wei multiple times and every visit has been consistently impressive. One of the standout dishes is their Sesame Chicken, which is perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, drizzled with a sweet and savory sesame sauce. The Mongolian Beef is another fan favorite, featuring a generous portion of beef cooked to perfection with fresh vegetables. The restaurant's commitment to using high-quality ingredients is evident in each dish, and their quick service ensures you’re never left waiting long for your meal.

Their efficient service does not sacrifice the taste or quality of the food, which is a rarity when it comes to fast-casual dining.

The restaurant also excels in customer satisfaction. The variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone. If you’re a fan of spicy foods, the Szechuan dishes pack just the right amount of heat. For those looking for a milder dish, the Teriyaki Chicken offers a sweeter, more subtle flavor that is equally as satisfying. Every time I’ve been to Wei Wei, the portions have been generous, and the quality remains consistent, which speaks volumes about the restaurant's dedication to serving its customers.

Probably the best S&P Wings I've had in San Diego. Super crunchy, very flavorful and reasonably priced. I went based on a TikTok I saw recently, and was not disappointed! The chicken Chow Mein and cream cheese wontons were also really good. Definitely recommend you go try them!

Salt and pepper wings were my favorite from our order. Everything else was also amazing. We took it to go. They have a vented box for the wings, so they stay crunchy. My new spot for the salt and pepper wings.

This was my first visit, and I came for the salt n pepper chicken wings. Counter and table service was friendly and welcoming. We also ordered the house fried rice to go with our wings. It was moist, really tasty, and flavorful without adding any soy sauce.

I love salt and pepper chicken wings. After seeing an Instagram video online about this place rivaling a National City legend, I had to check it out. I went on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of parking and available seating inside. I ordered a dozen wings, vegetable fried rice, and a lemon black tea. The wings were crunchy and satisfying. They were crispy without being greasy. The flavor was awesome. The tea was great and the rice was decent.

Tucked away in a strip mall, this spot is easy to miss but well worth seeking out. When I arrived at 5:30 PM, the place was already hopping with people picking up orders--a sign of its popularity! The food was reasonably priced and quite good overall. My only critique is that the salt and pepper chicken wings could use a bit more flavor, though they delivered on crunch.

#EveryBitesBetterWithChopsticks ***WEI WEI is THE BEST ASIAN FOOD THAT I HAVE EVER HAD*** Not exaggerating! Fernando insisted upon it once and I was completely blown away, super unprepared. He ordered orange chicken, I scoffed and I tried some of his and it was just this amazing third dimension with the rind, I just couldn't believe it. Everything is amazing. I got beef and broccoli... today I got the walnut shrimp and their special chicken they have with beef lo mein noodle (chow mein for the kooks) & fried rice... I'm ready to see my dad!!!
